Cori is an HR Consultant with over 25 years of experience across a wide variety of industries and provinces.
Before she started Jouta, she thought she was a solid HR Professional – now she knows she is.
She spent most of her career sitting at executive tables where she worked hard to showcase to her colleagues that HR really could be a true business partner, through actions and words.
In 2006, she decided it was time to put her money where her mouth was. It was time for her to walk her talk and truly showcase, not only to herself but to others, that her view of HR was solid. Since then, Jouta has worked in over 22 different industries with over 250 companies, ranging from 0 to 500 employees. Her solid approach and a team of talented HR Specialists has made Jouta “a best company for clients to work with!”
Cori takes the often-overwhelming subject of human resources and delivers practical and realistic tools for small to medium-sized organizations to implement, from recruiting and retention to development and training.
In her spare time she loves adventure. From long bike rides raising money for cancer research, to scaling off the side of a building raising money for children with disabilities.

Karina comes to Jouta with a background in finance and has worked in small to mid-size private corporate settings, within a variety of industries. She brings over fourteen years of related experience, which encompasses full cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and year-end closing. She also has extensive experience in full cycle payroll and benefit administration.
Karina has been considered a critical component of many accounting teams and her tenacity to find the root of the problem, alongside her strong sense of integrity has made her successful. Karina obtained her CGA designation in Ontario in 2008, where she lived for 25 years, after having immigrated from Poland, as a young girl. It was inevitable that her love and passion for the outdoors would lead her to British Columbia and, at the end of 2009, she and her husband made the move of a lifetime here to BC – their new home. In 2013, they welcomed a baby boy into the world and life, as they knew it, changed forever.

Brodie may not be an HR Consultant but he's an excellent guard dog! He comes to Jouta with several months of field training in Edmonton where he crafted and honed his skills in the area of Security. Although Brodie is undersized relative to his peers he makes up for it with motivation, guts, determination and a unique ability to be at your feet without ever knowing he is even in the vicinity. This skill has been a real asset to his success as Chief Security Officer for Jouta.
In his spare time, Brodie enjoys running on the Beach at English Bay terrorizing the seagulls.
Brian brings to Jouta over nineteen years of experience in the food & beverage and construction industries, in both union and non-union settings.
Originally working in operations, his love for people, and strengths in relationship building and communication led him to transition to human resources. His experience in operations has always provided him with the ability to view things from a broader perspective and help organizations make better decisions.
Brian believes that human resources is an “enabler for the business”: an organization’s goals and objectives are achieved through its people; and creating a culture that is fun, engaging and built on trust is part of building a high performing organization. This belief is at the heart of what drives him to help organizations on their path to success.
Brian’s biggest passion outside of the office is photography, particularly street, portrait and architectural photography. It is rare to find him without a camera around his neck, capturing the world around him.
