Pan Pacific Hotel Christmas Wish Breakfast
Early this morning, a small team from Jouta braved Vancouver’s grey drizzle to donate gifts to the Christmas Wish Breakfast at the Pan Pacific Hotel. It seems we weren’t the only ones. Between 6am and 9am this morning, the Pan Pacific saw over 4,000 generous Vancouverites donate toys and cash to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
As well as all the staff from the Pan Pacific helping run the event, there were over two dozen firefighters from the Vancouver Fire Fighters Union helping with the toy collecting. Choirs, musical entertainment and even Santa were also on hand to help make the morning experience magical.
Sally from Jouta said, “I had a really wonderful morning at the Christmas Wish Breakfast. It was a heart-warming atmosphere and the event was expertly run with queues moving swiftly. It was great to see such a good turnout with lots of presents piling up.”
In return for giving Christmas gifts the Pan Pacific invites everyone to join them for complimentary breakfast.
How much food can 4,000 people eat? The Pan Pacific served 25,000 eggs, 20,000 sausages, 3,000 kilograms of potatoes and 5,000 croissants!
