She originally hails from northern England and was only meant to be in Vancouver for six months; it was the first stop on a round-the-world tour. Three years later she’s no further around the world but has fallen hard for the city and hopes to make it a permanent home.
She mixes a passion for writing and marketing…with mixed martial arts and is currently training to compete. In addition to her work at Jouta Olivia also does voluntary marketing for a local publication called Room (a magazine written by and for women). And, when not juggling all this, she is a regular contributor to Vancouver Observer. Life is certainly busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

(photograph coming soon)
This Lawnbowls fanatic began developing his skills in the field of Financial Storytelling at BCIT in 2005. Since then he has acquired his diploma in financial management and has been working in this field since June 2007. He is working on furthering his education and looking forward to acquiring his designation as a CGA.
To further expand on the note of lawnbowls, he has been playing this great sport since 1994 and has represented Canada at five international events and would like to be part of the next Canadian World Lawn Bowls Team. Come try it sometime!
