Olivia Bevan, Marketing Associate

Olivia comes to Jouta with a varied background in marketing, writing and editing, and is well-positioned to lead Jouta’s marketing. From writing press releases, to blogging, branding and tradeshows, she’s a jack-of-all-trades and loves keeping busy.

She originally hails from northern England and was only meant to be in Vancouver for six months; it was the first stop on a round-the-world tour. Three years later she’s no further around the world but has fallen hard for the city and hopes to make it a permanent home.

She mixes a passion for writing and marketing…with mixed martial arts and is currently training to compete. In addition to her work at Jouta Olivia also does voluntary marketing for a local publication called Room (a magazine written by and for women). And, when not juggling all this, she is a regular contributor to Vancouver Observer. Life is certainly busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Working alongside accounting greats such as Thomas Arnould, CA he has been gathering the real life experience and knowledge to be able to organize and tell the financial story. He is working on furthering his education and looking forward to acquiring his designation as a CGA.

To further expand on the note of lawnbowls, he has been playing this great sport since 1994 and has represented Canada at five international events and would like to be part of the next Canadian World Lawn Bowls Team. Come try it sometime!
